MORE WITH LESS.
I take existing things and materialise them into new meanings for the sake of people’s well-being.
Using boundaries as channels for creative expansion - not limitation - I am a designer who crafts insight-based creative strategies and projects to brands and organisations on a sustainable basis.
I am interested in working on projects that make room for reflection and change.
In a world where things are programmed to be replaceable, or in which their durability is, paradoxically, overcome by new (in)dispensable versions, creativity becomes crucial to think about sustainable solutions. Here you find different projects where I followed the path of reassessing an issue and giving a new format to it.
Towards the Chaos
Using sugar as a medium to reflect about the life span of objects.
Skrâps
Free food made out of wasted matters to create dialogs about food waste.
Kitchen as resource
Research project. Experimenting dehydrated pureed wasted fruit as surfaces for product design.
A Different Kind of Fix
Transforming wasted paper into music.
In contrast to the human & user-centred model of design that has been in focus, the implications of technological and environmental transformations are challenging designers to change to a posthuman perspective. In this field of studies, I have been part of some projects:
Postcards from Nature
Learning about barnacles - the unwanted sea creatures - through design methods.
Coexisting as Becoming
Instagram filters to raise discussions about the rise of sea water levels.
